Jai (John Abraham) is
an heir to a rich business family. But he still hasn’t
inherited the wealth.
It is a crucial day for Jai. Today he has to prove in
court that he is the right heir to his father's property
worth Rs 300 crore.
It is also a crucial day for Raghu. He desperately needs
Rs. 30,000/- by the end of the day to pay off his debts.
On his way to the court to claim money, Jai takes
Raghu’s taxi. But it won’t be just another smooth,
paid-for ride.
What begins as a simple cab journey takes unexpected
turns. Jai’s life is in danger. Raghu is arrested by
the police. There is adventure and humour.
The
movie has John Abraham and Sameera Reddy playing two
people in love.
The movie has Nana and Sonali playing a married couple
living a hand-to-mouth existence. Sonali plays a
traditional Maharashtrian woman.
The movie will have Nana and John in a promotional music
video 'Meter Down' with a number of sexy models jiving
to the beat of the song composed by Vishal-Shekhar.

‘Taxi Number 9211’ also stars
Kurush Deboo and Shivaji Satam in marginal roles.
The
currently in-demand music director duo, Vishal-Shekhar
are behind the score. Taxi may have an integral place in
the film's title and plot, but the album doesn't bear a
single jhankaar beatish bone in its body.
